If we don't learn to change the way we think, we won't be able to solve the problems we create because of the way we think

Albert Einstein

In the context of the mathematics lesson and for the preparation of the custom of Clean Monday, students of sections A, B and C of High School under the guidance of their teachers Karatzia Thodoris, Kouzouloglou Garifalia, Prendza Aikaterini and Telaki Despina created and painted their own kite.
First, following the screening of audio-visual material on the custom of kite flying on Maundy Monday, they were asked to build their own kite. With the help of Mathematics, the problems of its creation were discussed, but only in the shape of a regular hexagon. Through its properties the students tried to create their own regular hexagon, using their geometric instruments. Due to the problems they faced, they were shown a geometric construction on the interactive board and started to construct the regular hexagon with the help of the teachers. The results showed that the students not only constructed a perfect regular hexagon, but also decorated it with great imagination and skill. When mathematics becomes a game, not only knowledge is gained, but also the willingness to learn.
