Plexousakis Michael, Assistant Professor of the Department of Mathematics and Applied Mathematics of the University of Crete, was held with great success. The speech, entitled \"Mathematics and Sailing\", was addressed to the students of the 3rd Gymnasium, who had the opportunity to learn about the practical application of mathematics and natural sciences through the fascinating world of sailing.<\/p><p>The presentation combined theoretical concepts with practical examples, highlighting how mathematics and physics coexist in the design, navigation and dynamics of sailing.
