Η κινητικότητα πραγματοποιήθηκε από τις καθηγήτριες Γεωργία Μάνδαλου, Ελευθερία Παχιαδάκη, Σοφία Πολυχρονάκη και Ιωάννα Σμυρνάκη, οι οποίες επισκέφθηκαν το σχολείο Atuarfik Hans Lynge in the city of Nuuk, Greenland in the context of job shadowing (job shadowing) from August 25 to August 28, 2025.
During the mobility program, teachers from the 13th Gymnasium attended classes at the Greenlandic school, toured its premises and facilities, met with partner teachers in the staff room, and learned about their teaching methods. They spoke with the educational advisor, who explained the Greenlandic educational system, allowing the Greek teachers to compare and understand the differences between the two educational systems. They interacted with the students of the host school, who, as responsible hosts, showed the teachers around the area surrounding the school, talked about their lifestyle inside and outside school, and asked for information about the lifestyle of Greek students. Finally, the principal of the Greenlandic school referred to the problems and difficulties she faces and how she deals with them on a daily basis.
The teachers participating in this mobility program had the opportunity to experience Greenlandic hospitality and learn about the culture of this remote country. They came into contact with its culture through visits to the city's museums, sampling local delicacies, and learning about the history of the place. Finally, touring the country's unique natural landscape and having the chance to admire the Northern Lights made this mobility program a unique and unforgettable experience for the participating teachers.
